Do you travel around? Do you like to take your sex toys with you on the road? Or do you just want to try something new? The makers of the BedBuddy™ (see our reviews) have created an ultra-portable dildo/vibrator mount. Think of the PocketPal™ as a universal strap-on, but not to be worn – but to strap your favorite toy to various house-hold fixtures. Ever wanted to have some sex on your stair-well? Perhaps looking to give your husband a nice treat when he opens up the door after a long day at the office, then the PocketPal may do the trick for you. It comes with 85” (tip to tip) of adjustable strapping, so you can strap your toy on various objects like a door, balusters, a chair, sofa cushions, or just let your imagination run wild and come up with some new places (perhaps your washing machine – set to spin cycle).
The PocketPal consists of two main pieces. The first is the base with an attached strap – this is what you will attach to your favorite mounting object. The second is a toy adapter – this is what you add to your toy so that it can be firmly grasped. There are various toy attachments to allow use with dildos, vibrators, and Vac-U-Lock® enabled toys (Doc Johnson has several Vac-U-Lock toys to choose from). Once the toy attachment is securely placed around the base of your toy, the toy can be slid into the base and locked in place.
Much like the BedBuddy, it is an interesting concept – but how does it work? With our toys strapped onto various objects, my partner and I were able to put the PocketPal through its paces. First up was the door – this is a good choice if you like stand-up sex. Strap the toy onto the door and you can back into your toy with the strap firmly holding the toy in place. Bouncing back and forth provides a good in-and-out sensation and also frees your hands for masturbation with a vibrator. A threesome can also be simulated this way with the PocketPal as the extra partner. Your mate can give you oral sex while pleasuring herself.
Sure to be a favorite, strapping the toy to your favorite chair will work wonders. Into a little cyber-sex? Attach the PocketPal and favorite toy and now you can bounce and grind while chatting online. Large cushions from a sofa or arm-chair also work well. We used the PocketPal to secure our toys around a large cushion and then bounced our worries away.
PocketPal can also be used with sex cushions like the series from Liberator. The various shapes and sizes allow for a variety of positions. Strap the toy onto a cube for up-down stimulation or use the PocketPal with a wedge to get a better angle on the situation. When all is done, don’t be a fool clean your tool. The PocketPal cleans up easily with mild soap and water. It is small and compact, so it can easily be stowed away in a nightstand or toiletry bag (for those on the go).
What would make the PocketPal perfect? I think that an optional strap running perpendicular to the first strap could really help secure the base for play in all directions. The single strap can tend to let the toy lean over on the unsecured axis. One strap works, but two may be better in some situations. Even without a second strap, the PocketPal does the job it was intended to do and opens up new possibilities for play at home and on the road.
