The main menu features some excellent animation of a cool-looking space ship firing off its lasers. From the main menu you can choose to play the entire movie or select one of the six scenes to view. The languages sub-menu allows you to choose from one of the eight available languages. Overall the menu is very well done, with major-studio movie quality fonts, graphics, and animation.

Porn Wars opens with the familiar scrolling text that trails off into the distance of space, just as the original Star Wars movie. Chapter one establishes the plot with extensive use of special visual and audio effects, along with other professional techniques such as the use of matte art to show scenes of immense scale. According to the scrolling text, the Jodi Warriors are on the side of good, fighting the dark forces of the universe, the evil Seth. The training of these warriors is critical to the long-term survival of the Jodi.

The first sex scene occurs under ten minutes into the film. Viewers are treated to visuals of cock sucking, tit fucking, doggie, anal action, and toy play between a Jodi Knight trainee (Sandra Parker) and her instructor (Antonio Ross). I found the toy play particularly good as she works her pussy like mad with a dildo while he pounds her ass with his throbbing cock. The climax is pretty spectacular with our stud blowing his load all over her pussy and anus. Somehow I think she got more than “textbook” Jodi Knight training! The accents are a little funny in this first segment (they sound Eastern European), but the erotic action more than compensates.

The next scene starts out with a light saber dream sequence before exposing more of the plot elements. Soon, another couple (an exotic, sinister-looking beauty - Mya Diamond, and a leather-clad bad-ass played by Horst Baron), go at it with abandon. Against a high-tech backdrop the adult action encompasses cock sucking, pussy eating, missionary and reverse cowgirl fucking. Hold on though, because that’s not all! A little anal and tit fucking are thrown in for good measure to round out the scene, which end with him spraying his love juice all over her melons. May the Force be with you!

Scene #3 starts out with a small, four-person “away-team” being sent down to a desert-like planet, complete with some excellent, realistic, exterior photography. The three-girl, one-guy team makes their way through a desolate landscape strewn with bodies, eventually reaching a mysterious entryway in the cliff walls. Unknown to the exploration team, sinister chick Mya Diamond as stowed away and lurks in the shadows. The away team finds a convenient place for a little ménage a trois between Nikky Rider, Liz Honey, and The Drifter to ease the stress from their dangerous mission.

A big battle between the Seth and the Jodi knights ensues. Some of the film’s most impressive stunts and special effects can be found in this segment, just under an hour into the movie. Light sabers, space ship attacks, and explosions bring this part of Porn Wars to life – these are things that you simply will not find in the typical low-budget flicks that dominate the adult film industry today.

Later on, a bar scene (like those in the classic Star Wars movies) showcases the set creation, costume, and makeup talents of the skilled artisans behind this film. All of this art is not wasted, as some of the bar patrons create an action-packed sex scene in this environment for your viewing pleasure. With that, I’ve given you a run-down of much of the film, but I will leave the remaining scenes for you to discover and enjoy yourself. I will say that I am confident you will like this disc for your collection.

For an adult film, this production is astonishingly large in scale. From the elaborate sets, the costumes, hair, makeup, matte paintings, to the animations, this is a very ambitious title. Pure Play Media states that this is their most ambitious to date, and I most certainly agree with that. Porn Wars continues a trend set by films such as Pirates (from rival studio Digital Playground), raising the bar on other studios to produce similarly stunning titles or risk losing market share. For adult DVD consumers out there, this is a good thing.
