Time to put Jesse Jane’s Intimate Passages on the test bench and put it through my rigorous testing. So I grabbed some rechargeable AA batteries and loaded up the controller and inserted the included button cell to make sure I could enjoy all the modes. This is one tight unit, I had to use plenty of lube (read our lube reviews). Just make sure it is a rubber safe lube as you don’t want your new toy to disintegrate on you. So I dropped in a copy of Digital Playground’s Loaded (read my review) and had a little plug-n-play action. The unit felt pretty good and with the right lubricant, it almost felt like the real thing. My preference would be to use a good warming lubricant to help simulate the warmth of a real lover.

So what sets this unit apart from other sex toys? One of the biggest things this sex toy has going for it is that it is very detailed. You can count the individual pores if you are so inclined and check out the detailing on the labia and clitoris as well as the skin folds near the anus. Another thing that I really liked is that the unit comes with a multi-speed vibrating egg that allows for high and low intensity as well as different patterns of pulsation. The unit is a little smaller then some of the other castings I have seen, so this has some pros and cons. On the plus side, due to its size it is a little easier to clean and store. On the negative side, I found that it slid around a little more and that I tended to poke through due to its shorter length. Poking through isn’t bad as it has a unique sensation as you pass through the vacuum relief hole at the rear of the unit, but it did interrupt the realism of the experience. One other thing that I thought could be improved on this unit was the coloration of the labia and clitoris. It is day-glow pink – looking at the videos and box art – Jesse Jane is not that pink – however on the plus side the coloration does fade to a little more realistic color with repeated use and washing.

This unit really took a beating on the bench and came out no worse for wear, so I would expect that it will last a little while for the average user out there. The vibrating egg worked well and if for some reason it should fail or you want a different sensation, the egg port on the back of this sex toy could be filled with some other stimulating mechanism. Clean-up of the toy was relatively easy with a little soap and water (just make sure to drain all the water when you are done). These life like materials tend to be a little sticky when drying so I wouldn’t recommend using any sort of cloth or paper towel as it will mess up your cleaning efforts – air drying seems to work best. For the money it is a good deal as it is a little less pricey then some other units in its class and it provides similar satisfaction. I’ll be keeping this unit around for some extended testing.
