We attend a fantastic party at the Tao at the 2006 AVN
Pure Play at Club Tao - AVN 2006
Yo, Rocketman here bringing you the scoop on one of the hottest after
parties at AVN 2006! That’s right, yours truly was one of
the select few to party it up at Club Tao with Adult DVD producer Pure
Play Media’s top notch talent, thanks to the generosity of Pure
Play’s April Storm.
For those of you not familiar with the
Las Vegas scene, the Tao Nightclub is a 10,000 square foot nightclub
located in the Venetian hotel. Only invited guests, press, and
Pure Play’s stable of hot porn stars were permitted entry into
this exclusive party after the day’s AVN spectacle. Let me
give you the low down…
I arrived on the scene around 9:30pm and was greeted by sights and
sounds of the organized chaos outside of Club Tao. I was
immediately mobbed by the paparazzi before the crack security
intervened. Hey, its tough being Rocketman but I’m used to
all of the attention! After posing for the cameras and signing a
few autographs, I was given several armbands of various colors
indicating my VIP status. Fellow Silicon Slave personality Dr.
Phreakenstein joined me for the night’s festivities and we were
eventually escorted inside the club by Pure Play Media’s security
detail (which, by the way, could have passed for NSA agents.)
A brief elevator ride took us to the 2nd floor and the throbbing music
of the media lounge. Taking in all the eye candy and hotties
dressed to impress, I became rapidly aware that the music wasn’t
the only thing throbbing as the monster in my pants stirred to
life! After securing a drink I broke out the camera and shot
several photos for you loyal Silicon Slave readers, much to the chagrin
of the security guards who were explicitly instructed not to permit
photography. Never one to adhere strictly to the rules, I
wasn’t going to let a few muscle-bound hulks prevent me from
sharing the event with you. Without any further delay, let me
guide you through the photos you see here.
The picture above gives you a little bit of an idea of the crowd and the Club Tao
venue itself. The room was actually much darker than what you see
here, but because I had my flash set a little too strongly I lit the
place up like the freakin’ sun.
Here's one of my favorite shots! Here you get to see some
of my fellow revelers – note the hand on the leg – you go

The very lovely "Major Gunns", Tylene Buck, is relaxing with a drink
and posing for the cameras just outside the party. She is never
one to disappoint, and believe me when I tell you that she was a great addition to the Tao party!
The oh-so-talented Nikki Hunter (black dress with blonde and red
hair) and the sexy Flower Tucci (blue dress), made the scene. I
got a great shot of them showing off their smiles, and
then was lucky enough to catch them being naughty with a little
kissing action.
And as you can see, there was a seemingly endless supply of beautiful women at this party!
Despite some initial delays and confusion getting the event underway
largely out of their control, the Pure Play Media folks (particularly
April Storm) threw a kickin’ party. The turnout was great
and judging by the smiles on the faces the event was a huge
success. Dr. Phreakenstein was able to get his freak on, I
enjoyed it, and most definitely a good time was had by all as this
final shot clearly demonstrates!
