Interview with Jesse Jane™ of Digital Playground

While confirming our press passes for AVN’s Adult Entertainment Expo – we were presented with a rare opportunity to interview one of the top superstars in adult entertainment.  Digital Playground was nice enough to book us for 15 minutes with Jesse Jane so read on to find out interesting bits like her favorite sex toy and upcoming films.

Dr. Phreakenstein:  Do you have a favorite sex toy?

Jesse Jane: My favorite toy of all is the Lipstick Vibrator.  I swear by it. I swear by it.  You can orgasm once in a minute.  It is the most powerful little thing.  Better then the Pocket Rocket.

Dr. Phreakenstein:  Very discreet.  Have you had any problems with it at the airport?

Dr. Phreakenstein:  So these are the ones you really had a role in developing.

Dr. Phreakenstein:  Would you attribute some of that to the female owned business aspect?

Jesse Jane: Yes.  We all work together.  We know porn is not just for guys.  We all love porn.  So we make something that will appeal to both a man and a woman.

Dr. Phreakenstein:  Like the “Story of J” - a series of vignettes.

Jesse Jane:  Yes, different scenes – everyone has different tastes.  It was a lot of work it was based on the “Story of O” – European still a number one book.  It is about a girl that gets married at a very young age learns her sexuality.

Dr. Phreakenstein:  As the girl was going through that, as you were going through that – did you learn anything or grow?

Jesse Jane:  Not really, when I lost my virginity the guy said “no way you’re a virgin.”  I don’t know why – I guess I was a sexual freak.  It was really hard to shoot that movie because I don’t like to sit there and act like I don’t know what I am doing.  They would be saying “no Jesse, stop” as I would get too into it.  There was one time with this new actor who was really good looking, he was supposed to do a scene with Devon and I started messing around with him.  Sometimes you just can’t stop.

Dr. Phreakenstein:  It is good to see that you are into it because you really are into it and it’s not just for the money.

Jesse Jane:  Ah yeah if you see some of my films, you’ll see that sometimes I am not even looking into the camera.  They have to come around and tell me to look into it.

Dr. Phreakenstein:  Do you have any upcoming exciting stuff that our readers might be interested in?

Jesse Jane:  Pirates.  We are working together with Adam & Eve.  We have already shot the trailer.  It’s going to be fun we are shooting in Puerto Rico and Cabo.

Dr. Phreakenstein:  So you are looking forward to it?

Jesse Jane:  I can’t wait.

Dr. Phreakenstein:  Some of our readers are thinking about getting into the business, what advice do you have for them? What do you see yourself doing after your acting days are over?

Jesse Jane:  Hopefully I can go for a while, like Devon.  There are a lot of things you got to pick up.  I would like to write vignettes of my sexual fantasies.  You also have to get the right girls, girls that are reliable.

Dr. Phreakenstein:  How about studio versus location – what do you prefer?

Jesse Jane:  We stayed on Bora Bora a few extra days after shooting "Island Fever 3", definitely location.  It beats regular bedroom sets.

Dr. Phreakenstein:  Do you prefer the videos or the stills?

Jesse Jane:  Videos!  Yeah I love videos!

Dr. Phreakenstein:  Was there anybody that inspired you to get into this business?

Jesse Jane:  Jenna Jameson made it very glamorous and I love Tracy Lords.

Dr. Phreakenstein:  Pro-wrestlers have their signature moves - do you have a signature move?

Jesse Jane:  My flexibility, I can do standing splits and somersaults with my hands on my ankles.  You don’t see people doing that.

Dr. Phreakenstein:  Were you a cheerleader or gymnast?

Jesse Jane:  Cheerleader, pom-poms, jazz, ballet, hip-hop – I have done it all.  I love flexibility.
